Andrew Sullivan: Utter tool

Well Sundries Shack has once again ( darn you Jimmie) gotten inside my head.

For some time now, Andrew Sullivan has irritated me. And it wasn’t a logical irritation either.

I scrolled back to the pre ’04 election Sullivan and I read the 04 and post Sullivan. I read about the smarmy way Andrew went about eliciting funds. And this is what made me think Andrew was selling out here.

Hugh Hewitt should answer one single question: does he doubt the FBI interrogator who witnessed the appalling treatment of some detainees at Guantanamo? Here's the report:

Andrew Andrew Andrew

The comparissons to Pol Pot, Stalin, and Hitler Don't add up.

and in the words of Johnny Cochrin "If the glove don't fit you must acquit "

but beyond that point, Hugh's article wasn't about what is and isn't in bounds in detention policies in gitmo. Hugh's point was Durbin crossed a line by presenting a historically ignorant comment and needed to be beat back. If Durbin gets away with this then we owe Trent Lott a big apology.

What trent Lott said was insensitive but was not as out right foolish as what Durbin said. You want to debate prisoner handling thats fine, but exposing prisoners to a temperature slightly less then the highest high they would live in and slightly less then the lowest low then they would live in isn't torture. Loud music to wake them up isn't torture ( now if it is played constantly that is a different story)

chained to the floor without a bathroom break.. Ok, here we can find some agreement that a line was crossed. But how dare you sir say that just because Dick Durbin crossed a line we have to support torture.

Andrew sold out to the political left, because its where the money is. And hey, lets give andrew props for the fact he has made so much money off of his roll in the blogging community.

Andrew is like too too many gay republicans, being a republican to be a fifth collum like the hiring of a former John Edwards staffer by the log cabin republicans. And Andrew broke out and became a RINO ( in a bad way) when he felt the republican party by endorsing a policy, that would utterly fail, betrayed him. Now this gut instinct i just talked about, it comes from my feeling reading Andrews words. I can't point it out to you in some logical fashion it's just a gut check.

Sully, I'll drink to you formerly being one of the good guys. Now you're just a leftie sell out

I hope your big bundles of money make you happy
