Paris Hilton and her mother, Kathy, will be grand marshals for the annual gay pride parade, one of the city's biggest celebrations.

I have to say i am confused by some things here

let me list them off for you

1. What exactlly does Paris Hilton have to do with Pride? unless its pride in being the richest white trash on the planet.
2. Other then the fact she is so ugly if she was the only woman left on the planet i might consider sex with men what does she have to do with homosexuals?

Can some one clear this up for me?
