Socialism Kills Brain cells

Socialism Kills Brain cells
(by Larry Bernard)

While, I have cheered the new unwashed leftist hordes in Europe and their allies in the fascist reactionary right for beating down a document reminiscent of the politburo bureaucracy of the Soviet Union I have some thoughts which bare posting in the wild world of Blog

Amnesty International, for those of you in the Arab-Israeli bias fight know well has held a bias against Israel. The International Red Cross/Red Crescent has a bias against Israel. Their bias has a really sane point of origin, and we have seen it in the recent report where Amnesty International spit on the graves and rub salt into the wounds of people all over the world who suffered in the gulag system by mocking and trivializing the gross inhumanity they experienced.

Their logic is Israel and the United States need to be held to a higher standard. To that I have to say fine, no argument here what so ever.

But, even when the United States screws up we do not experience an equal time scenario, we do not experience a scenario that is weighted. Amnesty International, like all other major activist groups wants money. And they know people all over the United States don’t like torture and abuse of human beings, heck *I* don’t like torture and abuse of human beings. And they know that these people in a time where they are in the wilderness politically will pay through the nose if they are convinced that the Evils of George “Hitler” W Bush Junior are so bad only they can stop them they will write the check.

This is why Amnesty International spends more ink in cyber space attacking the United States. Why they attack Gitmo as a gulag and ignore just a few miles from the fence very real gulags exist to this day. They know they can get money, they know they can get media attention so screw those poor bastards suffering in Zimbabwe no one will pay for that right?

Just as George Lucas soft peddles a product groups like Amnesty International and the Red Cross soft peddle human suffering. These issues aren’t very difficult to understand nor are they issues that fall into shades of Grey. In North Korea and Zimbabwe we have governments who starve their people, brutally torture political dissidents, and murder anyone who dares to stand against them. It is absolutely amoral and abhorrent that these issues do not get the attention they disserve. When the leader of a government becomes a larger purchaser of Cognac then many nations while his people starve there is no black and white. When a national government kills farmers, rapes their wives, and turns a nation that was once an exporter into a nation where governmental and non governmental agencies begged the president to allow them to feed his people. These acts are depraved, psychopathic, and clearly evil. Nothing can justify these actions yet by preaching the evils of the United States and Israel when there is an administration they politically disagree with Amnesty International is trivializing this true and unrepentant evil in this world.

You do not need a degree from Harvard, nor do you need to have a 7 figure income to understand that these actions are clearly and absolutely evil. While this in no way gets the US off the hook what is clear here is in North Korea, Zimbabwe, Cuba, and a host of other counties there is a covert and overt system where these governments have institutionalized such evil and depravity. At best the argument is the US didn’t train people so they were accidentally evil. One does not need an advanced degree, nor do you need to summer in aspen to figure out which thing has a greater value in evil.

And where does this inability to categorize such clear and self-evident evil get us?

“Many governments, particularly those rebuked in the State Department's
annual rights reports, complain the United States has little credibility in
criticizing other nations because of scandals in recent years involving U.S.
abuse of prisoners.”

First of all the US government detailed in that report their own failings in stopping slave traders, because calling them “human traffickers” is an Orwellian word to hide the truth of their actions. Because the US government had a cadre of sick sadists at Abu Grahib, and because there are some incidents where it seems people crossed the lines in Interrogation we lose the right to say “Slavery is bad”… Ok let’s sit back and take that in a moment.

A small group of errors and errant individuals, which is all the evidence suggests, means we are morally equivalent to those people who have entrenched systems of absolute evil. So all evil is equal then to these people who are the self professed guardians of our morals and morality are the people who say “all animals are equal, some are just more equal then others” and I salute my brothers the pig and trust that the truck they lead me to sends me to some better place…. No, screw that.

These people also said the road away from the EU constitution lead to the death camps. I don’t think these people are fit to fund groups like the ACLU, Amnesty International, or the International Red Cross who scold those who make honest mistakes but allow the unrepentant and vile criminals to be ignored.

Is it any wonder the UN human rights commission is ran by the abusers? Is it any wonder 3 of the judges who ruled that the Israeli Security border is illegal have in their own countries a border fence that is even more illegal in International Law?

Those whose job, whose calling it was to save the poorest of us are now those who protect their villainous abusers. It is ludicrous and yes, as the President said Absurd.
