London is the New Madrid

At least so far as Al-Qaeda is concerned. Given their normal spacing of attacks, and given the timing I think this is very clear from a strategic vantage point.

London was hit because Al-Qaeda is making efforts towards peeling off members of our coalition and allies from our bussom. It worked in spain, so we are going to see now if it works in the UK.

They go for where they get the most effect and with attacking our allies they have a great number of advantages to another US based attack.

  1. a Large Muslim community to hide in.
  2. A society where laws protect the rights of religous and racial minorities to the point it will hamstring investigations
  3. You punish the supporters of the great satan, and you impact the political reality of the Great Satan ( think about all the times John Kerry talked about working with our allies, and listening to them)
  4. It's cheaper -they don't have to put the supply chain as far
So I'd place the next major attack in Australia if the pattern I am seeing is correct. And this attack will (unless realities on the ground dictate otherwise) within 2-3 years.

Meanwhile will the British embrace their Inner churchill, or their Inner Chamberlin
