First of all this shows a real lack of sense in her communication advisors. Hillary sounds shrill and well.. Very much like Kyle's mom on south park when she is angry. And as such whenever she talks all indignant it really sets folks off on the wrong track. Bill could sound Indignant and yet give you a sense ( if you weren't paying attention) he was innocent. Hillary sounds like the snotty kid who made you do extra homework because she bragged about getting it all done getting her comeupance.
Second thing... it really isn't a good barb. "What me worry" would have worked more if the white house was ignoring terrorism or just basically shrugging their shoulders and say "heck there isn't anything we can do"
however the fox story does have a little gem in it

If *I* was going to be running a probably doomed republican campaign I'd be using more work like this to try to chop her down
"I'm running for the United States Senate from New York in 2006 while my opponent is running for President in 2008."
some more stuff around that like and I think Ed Cox might become a plucky underdog who just might get it done.
