Al Gore

Al Gore has went off into clueless moonbattery

Among the other factors damaging our public discourse in the media, the imposition by management of entertainment values on the journalism profession has resulted in scandals, fabricated sources, fictional events and the tabloidization of mainstream news. As recently stated by Dan Rather - who was, of course, forced out of his anchor job after angering the White House - television news has been "dumbed down and tarted up."

You know what makes this quote really choice. Al before this was talking about the market place of Ideas.

so Al this first started on Freerepublic.com... just some guy with a computer. Then some great ploggers at INDCJournal, Powerline, LGF, and a host of others did something that was amazing. They called up experts. They researched data. They did the kind of foot work reporters once did. And they as just guys out there on the internet put these ideas out into the public forum.

This then goes into greater Irony when just before this Al talked about fictional news and then goes in to DEFENDING DAN

This is the visionary who is trying to come up with a new TV channel?

a new presidential campaign?

lord give me strength
