Gay Marriage in all 50 states

With a Bullet (Hat tip Iowa Voice)

as I've been telling people right now as soon as a fair faith and credit violation comes up the DOMA is done and gay marriages will be rolling out in all 50 states in the Union.

The first phase of that starts now

Michele Granda, a Gay & Lesbian Advocates & Defenders attorney arguing on behalf of the plaintiff couples, rejected that claim.

"Marriage with or without this statute does not force any other state to make a decision on marriage," she said.

ahem

The CONSTITUTION might not agree with you

"Full Faith and Credit shall be given in each State to the public Acts, Records, and judicial Proceedings of every other State. And the Congress may by general Laws prescribe the Manner in which such Acts, Records and Proceedings shall be proved, and the Effect thereof."

I don't see how they can get past that.

this lawsuit was started in 2003 btw... and I am sure by the time it goes through it may be 2006 before the ink is dry.

Gay marriage is coming to all 50 states.

Next stop: Polygamy
