To review (more Miers mania)

If I was a democrat i'd be playing -these- issues up in the Miers confirmation hearings

She reviewed drafts of
President Bush's 2003 State of the Union speech that included claims, later recanted, about
Iraq's efforts to acquire uranium for nuclear weapons....

As White House counsel, she helped defend the administration's policies in the war on terrorism and its treatment of detainees. She was the president's top lawyer when he endorsed a proposed constitutional amendment against gay marriages.....

According to Newsweek magazine, Miers got another sensitive assignment as the governor geared up for his 1998 re-election campaign with an eye toward the 2000 presidential election. She reportedly headed a team of researchers that scoured Bush's Vietnam-era war record for anything that might be used against him....

Look at these three big areas where the democrats could make Bush bleed with Miers when it comes time to confirmation hearings.

The more that comes out about her, the less I can see anything good in her nomination from the White House.

Who was asleep at the wheel on the Mier's pick? It is becoming clearer and clearer that this choice has some serious flaws.
