We get to meet their house keeper who is a "magical negro" the poor black man or woman who helps out the poor white folks with their problems. We get to meet the gay son who is ditching medical school for other work on cancer (wasn't paying to much attention then). We have the streight adopted Chinese son making weird Japanessesque comments to the gay son (who he doesn't care much for)
The daughter is exposed selling weed to buy a big computer to do animation on (unlikely... to a point of absurdity)
The asian son is homophobic on the gay son.....
As i suspected this show is really just pathetasad.... but not so sad it isn't worth watching
