Vick stomped on the leg of Louisville All-American defensive end Elvis Dumervil after a tackle in the Gator Bowl. She said he son is often the victim of cheap shots on the field.
"Everybody does it in the NFL and college football," Boddie said. "He just got caught doing it, and since he's been in trouble in the past everything just got blown all out of proportion."
Boddie said she empathizes with what Dumervil's family must have felt.
"That boy has a mother," she said. "And I know when my son plays, if people are doing things I get mad. I know his mother felt that about Marcus."

Elliot's lawsuit alleges that Vick has used the name "Ron Mexico" and, in a related court filing, her lawyers are seeking Vick's admission that he used the "Mexico" alias--and perhaps other fake names--"for the purpose of herpes testing and/or treatment."
