Don Mexico may be coming to the NFL

Marcus "Donnie Mexico" is deciding if he wants to find another college or go into the NFL.

In addition to the incident where he stepped on the leg cleat first of an opposing player, driving on a suspended liscense (and speeding), giving booze to underage teens......

But his momma still loves him

"Everybody does stupid stuff when they're 19, 20, 21 years old," she said. "Everybody goes through that. Nobody's perfect. He just did the wrong thing."

Vick stomped on the leg of Louisville All-American defensive end Elvis Dumervil after a tackle in the Gator Bowl. She said he son is often the victim of cheap shots on the field.

"Everybody does it in the NFL and college football," Boddie said. "He just got caught doing it, and since he's been in trouble in the past everything just got blown all out of proportion."

Boddie said she empathizes with what Dumervil's family must have felt.

"That boy has a mother," she said. "And I know when my son plays, if people are doing things I get mad. I know his mother felt that about Marcus."

But looking at his oldest brother Michael "Ron Mexico" Vick

but we see Donnie isn't far from Ronnie on the tree

Elliot's lawsuit alleges that Vick has used the name "Ron Mexico" and, in a related court filing, her lawyers are seeking Vick's admission that he used the "Mexico" alias--and perhaps other fake names--"for the purpose of herpes testing and/or treatment." In her lawsuit, which does not specify monetary damages, Elliott states that she met Vick at a Virginia Beach nightclub in May 2001 and, shortly thereafter, began a close personal relationship with the football star (though the couple did not have sex until late-2002). Last December, Vick, the top overall pick in the 2001 National Football League draft, signed a ten-year, $130 million contract with the Falcons, the richest deal in league history.
